Summit Overview
Washington’s First Teen-Led Mental Health Summit is a student-driven and action-oriented event rewriting the typical narrative in the field of mental health to ensure youth are not just included in mental health conversations, but actively shaping solutions. Too often, discussions about youth mental health happen without youth in the room. This summit redefines history.
For the first time in Washington state, this summit is uniquely planned and led by youth (grades 6-12) in partnership with prominent leaders in healthcare, education, and public policy. Every session is designed with real-world impact in mind, equipping attendees with tools, resources, and connections they can take back to their friends, families, schools, and communities. The event is designed to be engaging, accessible, and inspiring, creating a space where change begins. At the end of the day, this summit aims to move beyond conversation and into action, ensuring that every student knows they are not alone and that action starts with us.

Conference Agenda
Every single one of us struggles in different ways, each carrying their own challenges. This summit transforms mental health awareness into a plan of action: for you, for the people you care about, and for the communities you’re part of. This summit bridges together generations, bringing 1,000+ students, educators, healthcare professionals, policymakers, nonprofit leaders, and community advocates to center youth voices while building meaningful collaboration. Through keynote speakers, interactive panels, lived experiences, and workshops, both youth and adult attendees will move from awareness to empowerment to action. Attendees will gain science-backed, practical strategies to support student well-being, build the confidence to support others in need, and feel equipped to take meaningful action.
